Gastroenterologist - Esophageal

NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is seeking an exceptional Gastroenterologist. The successful candidate will be board certified in Gastroenterology. Ideal candidates will have a special interest in esophageal clinical and/or translational research. The successful candidate will also lead in the development of a clinical program focused on esophageal motility, swallowing dysfunction, GERD and/or esophageal carcinoma.


The Division of Gastroenterology is comprised of more than 50 board certified physicians who provide our patients with the highest quality of care. The position will include: patient care and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Additionally, it will have protected time to develop a research program. NorthShores Research Institute and collaboration with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, provide an excellent infrastructure to allow the candidate to manage both aspects of this role.
