Job Description
The Department of Medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional physician who is passionate about providing quality patient care to join a growing program. The successful candidate will have a strong patient orientation and be interested in joining 5 other hematologists within a well established physician group including 20 disease specialist hematologist- oncologists. Ideal candidate is interested in treating both benign and malignant hematology, proficient treating acute leukemia, and will actively participate in autologous stem cell program. Additionally, a strong background in cancer clinical trials is desired. Our division is heavily involved in teaching of NorthShore Internal Medicine residents and University of Chicago Hematology/Oncology fellows. This position is located in the north suburbs of Chicago. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology. Additional board certification or eligibility in medical oncology is preferred
