Job Description

NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of the University of The Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional Nephrologist to join a growing program. The successful candidate will be board certified in Nephrology and have a special interest in a sub-specialty within Nephrology. This position will be primarily located in Evanston, Illinois.


The Division of Nephrology at NorthShore is comprised of 9 faculty members, several who have a subspecialty focus. The position will include patient care and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Additionally, the candidate will have an opportunity to participate in or develop a clinical research program. NorthShores Research Institute and collaboration with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, provide an excellent infrastructure to allow the candidate to manage both aspects of this role. The Division has a large active ongoing clinical research program with NIH funding that been running for 20 years.
