Spine Neurosurgeon

Job Description

NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal academic affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional full time Spine Neurosurgeon. The successful candidate for this position will be BC/BE by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and will have completed a Neurological Surgery Residency. Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) techniques are preferred.


The Department of Neurosurgery is a leading regional center for both clinical care and translational research. The department is dedicated to subspecialization, and a successful candidate will join a very active and well-rounded program with spine specialized peers. The Departments of Neurosurgery Neurology comprise the NorthShore Neurological Institute which attracts many patients for specialized care. In addition, the NorthShore Spine Center, composed of specialized neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and physiatrists, provides exceptional spine care throughout the region.


The NorthShore spine surgery program is fully active and equipped with modern, state-of-the-art spine equipment and support, including dedicated OR staff, block time, multiple 3D Navigation Systems and Robotics. The department has dedicated research staff to assist in studies and publications.
