Endovascular Neurosurgeon

The Department of Neurosurgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem, (NorthShore) the principal academic affiliate of The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is currently seeking an exceptional Endovascular Neurosurgeon. The successful candidate will be board certified or eligible and fellowship trained in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery. The primary focus will be cerebrovascular neurosurgery with the opportunity for additional general neurosurgery including spine and tumor. This position will include clinical, administrative and research responsibilities. A proven track record of outstanding interpersonal/communication skills is expected. Academic appointment to The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine is available to qualified candidates.
NorthShores Department of Neurosurgery has six full-time faculty. The department provides neurological services at four hospitals and six outpatient locations across the Chicago metropolitan area. The Department of Neurosurgery ha a long history of active involvement in clinical research and is committed to resident training and medical student education.
