Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a full time Registered Nurse for its Family Medical Center. This non-exempt position is responsible for all triage and managing the triage flow. This position will report to the Nursing Supervisor.

All Neighborhood Health Medical Centers are located in the greater Buffalo, NY region. The Buffalo-Niagara region boasts a great quality of life, with access to tremendous green space, including two Great Lakes and Niagara Falls, world-class museums, professional sports, public concerts and plays, and historic architecture.

Responsibilities:
Provides nursing actions to ensure patient participation in health promotion, maintenance, and restoration
Works with patients, nursing team and provider to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Works with patients to maximize their health capabilities
Performs all triage and manages the triage flow
Administers medication and provides treatment prescribed by provider
Performs immunizations and injections
Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff
Continuous collection of health data about the health status of patients
Assists in facilitating patient flow for the provider to ensure a seamless and efficient patient flow

Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited two year nursing school
Must possess a current NYS Professional Registered Nurse license
Must have current CPR certification
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Superb organizational skills
Strong influencing skills
Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative
Results-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasks
Solutions-driven with a systems orientation
Highly responsive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow-up and follow-through
Highly flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude
Excellent in managing shifting priorities and timelines
Outstanding project and time-management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable using document management software
Proficiency in Adobe and database management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent judgment and discretion
