JOB SUMMARY
St. Vincent's Medical Center, Behavioral Health Services is recruiting Child/Ado Psychiatrists to join an expanding outpatient practices which provides primarily Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) treatment in Bridgeport and Norwalk, CT. Responsibilities include outpatient care of adolescents and leading a weekly team meetings to help coordinate treatment plans with social worker clinicians.

Full Time Work Schedule: Week will be divided at our two clinics with 2-3 full days at one clinic with the remainder at the other. Typical days will include 1-2 60min intakes in the mornings with patients and families after screening has been performed by clinician followed by 6-8 30min follow-up appointments in the afternoons.

Part Time Work Schedule: Week will consist of about 20hrs with 2-3 days at one clinic. Typical days will include 1-2 60min intakes in the mornings with patients and families after screening has been performed by clinician followed by 6-8 30min follow-up appointments in the afternoons.

Providing adult, dual diagnosis, and child/adolescent services on an inpatient basis, our department fosters a reputation as the crown jewel of psychiatric care in Fairfield County. St. Vincent's Behavioral Health service line also includes a 16-bed psychiatric unit at the Medical Center in Bridgeport, admitting the most medically ill of our departments psychiatric inpatients. We are the primary teaching hospital for the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and are affiliated with the University of Connecticut.
