JOB SUMMARY
BE/BC Psychiatrist needed to join our expanding clinical services at our Bridgeport, CT campus as a part time (about 20 hours per week) Consultation/Liaison psychiatrist. Responsibilities primarily include management of patients presenting to the psychiatric area of our Emergency Department. There may also be flexibility to perform consultations on medical floors depending on psychiatrists interests and preferences.

This position will allow you have the flexibility to create your own evening schedule. On average, about a 4-hour shift with flexible arrival time. Preferred arrival before 7pm!________________________________________
BEHAVORIAL HEALTH @ A GLANCE!

St. Vincent's Behavioral Health service line includes a 16-bed psychiatric unit at the Medical Center in Bridgeport in addition to our 76-bed Westport location where we have adult, dual diagnosis, and child/adolescent services. This makes the inpatient behavioral health service line of St. Vincent's one of the largest in Connecticut, serving approximately 2,350 individuals annually. We have outpatient clinics running primarily IOP group services in both Norwalk and Bridgeport locations. Additionally, we are the primary teaching hospital for the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and are affiliated with the University of Connecticut.
