At St. Vincents Medical Center, we are looking for a BC/BE Surgicalist/General Surgeon/Acute Care Surgeon to join our Acute Care Surgery & Trauma Service. You will benefit from quality-driven initiatives within a physician led organization and work within a system dedicated to improving care.

St. Vincents Medical Center is seeking a full time Surgicalist/General Surgeon/Acute Care Surgeon to join our staff of medical professionals. St. Vincents Medical Center is a Level 2 Trauma Center. Successful candidates should have excellent clinical skills and are required to perform laparoscopic procedures.
Support of all surgical specialties
Full support of faculty surgeons
Dedicated Trauma PAs
General procedures, examines, diagnosis and treats adult patients with surgical diseases, this includes both operative and non-operative therapy.
Provide consultative services for patients in our Trauma Center and Emergency Department
Cover ED and Trauma
Follow-up on the inpatient units and ICU
Supervises and teaches other health care providers (medical students, PAs, APRNs, etc).
Inter-professional collaboration
Faculty appointment at Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
St. Vincent's Medical Center, a Magnet Hospital that has been named Best Hospital in Fairfield County and in all of Western Connecticut for 2013 - 2014 by U.S. News & World Report. We are also the primary teaching hospital for the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
