Job Description

Currently Ascension Medical Group Anderson has two Gastroenterologists in their group. Primary coverage includes Ascension St. Vincent Anderson and integrates into Anderson call group.

We are looking to add two Gastroenterology physicians to cover our Kokomo location. The goal is to have the following coverage:


*Clinic
*3 physicians at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson
*2 physicians at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo

*Inpatient consults and weekend coverage

*Procedures

*Shared call coverage between Anderson and Kokomo

In the future would like to add a 6th Gastroenterologist to provider clinic and procedure coverage to
North Critical Access Hospitals.

Meet our Gastroenterologist Physicians

Heather Figurelli, DO

*Dr. Figurelli is an experienced Gastroenterologist with an outstanding training record and professional
standing. She treats general gastric diseases but she has a special medical interest in the treatment of
inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. Dr. Figurelli is a member of the American College of
Gastroenterology and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.

Njideka Momah, MD

*She is an experienced board certified internal medicine physician with added fellowship training in
gastroenterology. Dr. Momah has a special medical interest in endoscopic ultrasound of the GI tract
tumors and pancreatic tumors, radiofrequency ablation of Barrett's esophagus and GERD. She will be
dedicating her practice to treating general gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Dr. Momah feels it's
important that her practice be committed to evidence- based management of gastrointestinal disorders
and offering high-quality patient care.
