Job Description

MidMichigan Health has outstanding employed options in Alma, just north of the State Capital in Lansing, Alpena on the shores of Lake Huron, or Midland, a suburban community in east-central Michigan. Each opportunity would be predominantly outpatient with nursery and pediatric rounds and occasional C-section/delivery participation. Our affiliation with the University of Michigan Health System provides the physician and patients with immediate access to those pediatric sub-specialties. Both MidMichigan and Michigan Medicine use Epic, so the communication to and from the provider is immediate.

Call would be 1:4 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alma, 1:4 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena, or 1:6 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. The pediatrician will have responsibility for call in just one medical center in any of the positions. The range of experiences varies from less than one year to more than 15 years, depending on the site.
