Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for Teaching Unit

Board Certified (or eligible pursuing certification) Child Psychiatrist needed to manage our 12-bed inpatient unit. You will oversee our PGY2 psychiatry residents who rotate on the inpatient unit year-round. Outpatient involvement (if desired) can be tailored to you.

We are located in beautiful upstate New Yorks Finger Lakes/Southern Tier Region

Board Certified Child Psych 2 - $292,305 (up to $399,246*)

Board Certified Adult Psych 2 - $269,333 (up to $376,274*)

Board Eligible Psych 1 - $257,847 (up to $359,541*)

Limited Permit eligible applicants will also be considered.

Base salaries are for a true 40 hour work week.

As a NYS employee your malpractice insurance is covered through Public Officers Law 17 defense and indemnification protection. This is much broader in scope than typical medical malpractice coverage.

Student loan repayment may be available through the New York State Office of Mental Health Psychiatrist Loan Repayment Program, up to $150,000.
