Casual Weekend Shifts; Premium Pay

Job Description

Mankato Clinic is seeking Nurse Practitioners for casual shifts in Urgent Care. This position is for two locations in Mankato. Work requirements are at least two shifts in a four-week period one of which must be a weekend.
- Weekend shifts consist of Saturday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Weekday shifts are M-F 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This opportunity offers a variety of responsibilities centered on patient care. The ideal candidate must have two years prior experience in Family Practice or related area as well as the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical practices, dedication to patient satisfaction and an ability to work effectively with physicians and staff and experience with electronic records are essential. Effective interpersonal skills are necessary for providing patient/family instruction and collaboration with health team members. Experience with Occupational Medicine is helpful.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Current authorization from the MN board of Nursing to prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices; Current BLS (basic life support) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.
