Medical Oncology

Bon Secours Medical Group, a physician-led multi-specialty group in Richmond, Virginia, is currently seeking BC/BE Medical Oncologist to join their progressive team of cancer experts. As a member of our team, you will work with six other medical oncologists to provide community-based cancer services in a compassionate and healing environment. Our Cancer Institute is a designated Community Cancer Program by the ACS.

The Bon Secours Cancer Institute provides a wealth of experience and resources through the synergy of four acute-care hospitals, two freestanding outpatient radiation oncology centers, two outpatient infusion centers, and the Cullather Brain Tumor Quality of Life Center. Additional support services include Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care. State-of-the-art technologies include: brain labs for the treatment of brain tumors, Trilogy Treatment System for conventional and stereotactic radiation therapy, Varian Linear Accelerators with GE CT simulators, Mobile PET/CT services, and breast MRI and digital mammography.

Duties:

Willing to work with high patient volumes
Conduct Inpatient Consults
Participate in clinical trials
Conduct oncology research
Clinical interest in GI and lung are advantageous
Qualifications:

MD/DO
BC/BE Hematology/Oncology
