FAMILY MEDICINE FACULTY OPPORTUNITY AT AULTMAN HOSPITAL

Job Description

Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio is seeking a board certified, broadly-skilled and educationally-oriented family physician to be part of the core faculty at the Family Medicine Residency Program as an Assistant Program Director. Established in 1976, the program has a track record of excellence in education and a successful residency-teaching program. Additionally, our faculty and residents have an active interest in academic topics and present at regional and national meetings. We offer excellent opportunities for faculty development and very supportive faculty and Program Director.

Canton, Ohio is a family-friendly, picturesque community with wide access to a broad array of outdoor activities and professional sports close by. The community has many top-rated school systems, outstanding real estate values, and an emerging art and cultural center in the downtown area. Aultman implemented an outpatient EHR and is planning a new PCMH FMC to serve the diverse population of our community. This new facility will be centrally located on the hospital campus. Aultman Hospital is a 682-bed tertiary care facility with a Reuters Top 100 Hospital rating and a renewed dedication to QI and patient safety activities. Physician responsibilities will include inpatient family medicine care; obstetrical skills are preferred, but not required. Outpatient responsibilities will include 30% outpatient care, 30% administrative and 40% precepting and teaching responsibilities.
