Sage Specialty Hospital located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking Full Time - Day Shifts - Registered Nurses (RN) to join its team! Sage Specialty Hospital is a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital and part of The Carpenter Health Network.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for working with physicians, case managers, charge nurse, nursing staff, and patients families to assist in providing the best continuum of care for patients that require care in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital.

Position Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license for State of Louisiana and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the LSBN.
Positive, caring and customer-service oriented attitude
Current BLS and ACLS certificate required (Sage LTAC will cover the cost for certification)
Time management skills and great communication is a MUST
Responsibilities:

Maintains and supervises the delivery of quality patient care by assuring that the Nursing Care Plan is developed, implemented and followed.
Receiving admissions and/or transfers to the unit
Initial and on-going systematic patient assessment
Timely and accurate documentation
Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data
Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
Promoting continuous quality improvement
Covering 12 hour work shifts
