.The Cherokee Nation's four-story, 469,000 square-foot outpatient health center on the Hastings campus opened its optometry, audiology, physical rehabilitation, behavioral health, radiology, lab and pharmacy services to patients on October 7. Primary Care, dental and resident clinics opened to patients in the new center on October 21. A grand opening ceremony was held on November 14. The facility will feature a new ambulatory surgery center, with five surgical suites, and two-endoscopy suites.

Cherokee Nation Health Services is partnering with Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine to open the Nation's first tribally affiliated Medical School in Tahlequah, OK. The first medical school class will consist of 50 students and classes will begin in the Fall of 2020.

Work day 8 hours Monday Friday
Call 4-6 days a month, 24 48 hours, primary call includes weekends and HolidaysPosition is Full time no part time , no PRN time
Surgical services are adult and pediatric and Multi Specialty , General surgery includes Bariatric surgery, Orthopedic surgery and Podiatry surgery with PNB service, Obstetrical and Gynecology surgery, Oral Surgery and Dental Rehab services. Outside OR services include Code teams, Inpateint/ critical care services consultations
OB Labor and Delivery PCEA on demand service , with over 1000 deliveries and includes high risk OB
No hearts No heads
Care model NO ACT Anesthesiologist direct care, CRNAs Surgeon supervision
