Description:
NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group, the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional full time Primary Care Sports Medicine physician to provide outstanding clinical care at our new Orthopaedic Immediate Care site in Chicago, IL. Candidate will treat urgent/acute Orthopaedic injuries as well as develop a continuity practice.

Candidates will be responsible for developing relationships with referring providers, as well have the opportunity to develop relationships with local schools and/or professional and recreational organizations. Candidates may, if interested, conduct some community outreach. Position will be required to work evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.

The ideal successful applicant will be board certified in Family Medicine by ABFM or AOBFP and will have completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine. Certification of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine is preferred. Academic appointment to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine is awarded to qualified candidates commensurate with experience.
