UNC Wayne -Neurosurgery Physician Opportunity

Job Description

UNC Neurosurgery at Goldsboro treats cervical and lumbar (spine and back) disorders and injuries and peripheral nerve disorders, such as carpal tunnel. We also specialize in brain surgery. We are the only group in the community that performs spine surgeries.

Our neurosurgeons maintain full medical staff privileges at Wayne UNC Health Care and our innovative and technologically advanced facility is designed specifically for outpatient and ambulatory surgery. Our care team is committed to providing you excellent care.

There are 2 Full time surgeons and 1 APP. A retired surgeon takes call one Friday-Sunday per month.

Each MD covers ER call for 8 days per month on Mondays-Thursdays. The other days of the month the MDs share call for office patients and hospital consults.
