Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center (Indianapolis) Adult Psychiatrist

Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent is seeking a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist for our Stress Center located on our 86th Street Hospital campus in Indianapolis. This individual will be serving a primarily inpatient population with a broad range of diagnoses and requires a candidate with flexibility and strong work ethic.

Position Highlights:

Primarily inpatient care, possibility of work in Partial Hospital & Intensive Outpatient setting as well as
providing ECT coverage.

Member of medical staff with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Unit coverage with 1 MD
and 1 NP. (Total medical staff 8 MDs, 9 NPs)

Weekend rotation one in 8 weekends

Call schedule 1:7

Mental health and chemical dependency treatment requires careful planning, a sensitive, supportive atmosphere and knowledge based on experience. The Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center supplies a full range of services and programs.

The Stress Center offers a full complement of services for youth, young adults, adults and senior adults. Highly qualified clinicians will carry out an initial assessment to help you find the right level of care. Individual, marital, family and group therapies are available. Intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization and continuing care programs are located in an office near you. Stress Center programs treat the whole person, addressing the medical, mental, emotional and spiritual factors in each situation.
