The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) headquartered in Long Beach, California, is seeking to hire a full time PEDIATRICIAN. SCFAI is a rapidly growing food anaphylaxis treatment program housed in a cutting edge environment involving a clinical care center, food protein processing center, and a translational science research laboratory. SCFAI has treated nearly 5,000 patients with food anaphylaxis achieving a 99% treatment success rate to date. SCFAI is built on safety, efficacy and achieving sustained unresponsiveness. Patients who were once anaphylactic are now able to eat any amount of allergen with dosing cycles occurring once weekly to every two weeks.

The success of SCFAI is built on years of development involving proprietary biomarkers, data analytics and modeling systems which allow unique patient specific therapy to be deployed in the clinic setting and at home safely. SCFAI currently employs 100 employees, including multiple physicians in the specialties of pediatrics, pulmonary, allergy, emergency medicine, and immunology, as well as mid-level providers, PhD research scientists and a team of over a dozen employees. In the food allergy world, the growth of SCFAI is unique and remarkable reflecting the effectiveness of its treatment approach and the supportive environment fostered by its team of professionals.

SCFAI is seeking a General Pediatrician who is willing to join the organization under the mentorship of its founder - Dr. Inderpal Randhawa and Physician Lead Dr. Tracy Clark. Classification: Full time (M-F, 8am - 5pm)

Salary: $180,000 - $210,000, DOE
