Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY
ReVIDA Recovery is seeking an addiction medicine physician to establish practice at our Newport, Tennessee, outpatient treatment center. We offer an evidence-based clinical program focused on comprehensive Medication Assisted Treatment (Suboxone/buprenorphine), care coordination, behavioral counseling, and support for the patient both inside and outside of our centers. DEA X-waiver required.

THE CENTER
The ReVIDA Recovery Center in Newport, Tennessee, is a licensed Office Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) Center. Our physicians are trained addiction specialists who bring the latest science and highest ethical standards to focus on each patients health and recovery. As a comprehensive opioid addiction treatment center, we offer professional care using a multi-disciplinary approach. In addition to the medication assisted treatment, the center offers behavioral counseling (including family, group, and individual therapy), Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, and care coordination. We work with our community partners to help everyone understand the disease, the causal influences, and best practices for recovery from addictions all of which also help reduce stigma resulting from ill-informed and assumptive ideas.
THE COMMUNITY
Nestled among the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherokee National Forest, and the Pisgah National Forest, Newport is a charming, historic small town in East Tennessee. Located in Cocke County (population 30,000), Newport offers a wide range of fun activities for the entire family. Hike any of the more than 800 miles of trails in the Great Smoky Mountains, enjoy fly fishing or rafting on the French Broad or Pigeon River, bike through the Cherokee National Forest, or enjoy Foxfire Mountain - the largest zip line attraction in the Smoky Mountains.
