Telehealth Triage Nurse

The call for nurses has always been strong. Now more than ever amidst the global pandemic that is COVID19, the demand is even stronger. TeleHealth Suite has an urgent need for triage nurses in our virtual telehealth center.

We are hiring nurses to assist hospitals, primary care physicians and organizations to triage COVID-19 cases. TeleHealth Suite is a company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, with the mission and vision to be the industry leader in providing access to high quality healthcare through telehealth, virtual care, and digital technology to people.

The Telehealth Suite Triage RN is responsible for answering calls and facilitating patients access to the appropriate level of care. The triage RN will assess and recommend the proper level of care. This position promotes wellness and informed decisions by providing health information, home care advice, and prevention concepts.

General Requirements
Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse Licensure in PA, other states may be required (in which case, we will assist). Nurses with license from compact license states are encouraged to apply

- Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience Previous Triage, ER and/or ICU preferred not required
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Patience and a general ability to work with people who may be in crisis or struggling with a difficult and stressful health condition or life event.
- Familiarity with navigating general computer software (office productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to adapt and learn new tools and software platforms.
- Previous contact center, telecommunications, telehealth, telephone triage experience is extremely desirable, but not required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or another language desirable but not required.
- Has excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to demonstrate positive communication skills in interacting with other members of the clinical team and management.
- Able to work independently and remotely
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Schedule/Work Environment:
- Night and Weekend shifts, and rotating holidays
- 24 hour a day operations; Hours are subject to change based on business needs
- Weekends are a minimum of 8-hour shifts required both Saturday and Sunday including holidays
