Job Description
If you enjoy tackling challenges, and working collaboratively to support the services to people with complex behavioral health issues, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team within the Office of Forensic Mental Health Services (OFMHS) as a Forensic Evaluator Supervisor.
The Forensic Evaluator Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing forensic psychological service delivery and supervision of Forensic Evaluator staff located at out-stations sites. This is a unique opportunity to partner with other leaders to innovate and improve service delivery and be part of the transformative initiatives happening in Washington State with how evaluator services are provided in a fast-paced environment.
You will be leading forensic services, ensuring the delivery of consistent, effective and high quality evaluation services in order to meet the needs of consumers, courts, and stakeholders. You will help design, develop and deliver evidence based and emerging best practices in program format, actively participate in formulating department policies, supervising psychology services, and ensuring ethics are maintained in a manner consistent with American Psychological Association guidelines

Some of what you'll do
Ensure appropriate use of resources and effective performance of duties in support of the mission, goals and operations of the Office of Forensic Mental Health Services.
Provide leadership and clinical support.
Ensure Forensic Evaluator staff maintain appropriate standards of care and are meeting performance standards.
Establish practice improvement initiatives, develop action plans, and track progress.
Oversee outstation forensic evaluation quality assurance program.
Complete annual assessments.
Manage staff hiring and onboarding.
Provide education regarding forensic evaluation services to hospital programs, institutions, and agencies, state courts, prosecution offices, defense attorney offices, designated Mental Health Professional offices and jails.
Complete forensic evaluations as required to demonstrate mastery, knowledge and expertise.
Who should apply
Professionals with a Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited school or department of clinical/counseling psychology
A license to practice as a Psychologist in the State of Washington or eligible to obtain a Washington State license prior to hire
3 years applied post-doctoral experience and demonstrated psychotherapy, psychological consultation, and psychological assessment skills
Core understanding of forensic psychology
