Physician Liaison

Job Description

This positions responsibilities will encompass a combination of duties including physician satisfaction, advocacy, and retention. The person is responsible for physician office communication, physician public relations/marketing, and facilitating and/or coordinate programs and meetings designed to foster positive relations between physicians and the hospital. He/she promotes the organization among members of the medical community in order to establish partnerships and affiliations; collects data on employed and non-employed physicians and makes recommendations to Director of Physician Network Development on ways to develop additional business. Identifies physician issues and concerns and provides the information to Director of Physician Network Development to ensure the appropriate resolution.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required; Business Administration (marketing, public relations or management) degree and health care related job experience preferred
