Academic Neurologist

Job Description

SBH Health System, a 400+ bed acute care hospital and academic health system in the Bronx, New York, affiliated with the CUNY School of Medicine and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is recruiting a full time BE/BC Neurologist to join our Division of Neurology.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills and be committed to delivering high quality care to an underserved population, mentoring residents and medical students and leading quality improvement initiatives. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient consultations, and clinics in general neurology. Opportunities to develop specialty clinics in areas such as movement disorders, stroke and headaches encouraged.

Candidates must be BE/BC in Neurology and possess a New York State license to practice as a physician. Current DEA is required. Spanish proficiency is desirable.
