Job Description
St. Lukes Health Systems Cancer Institute in Boise, ID seeks a BC/BE Hematologist for our Hematologic Malignancies and Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program. St. Luke's Cancer Institute has had an adult autologous transplant program since 1993, and successfully started an allogeneic transplant program in the spring of 2018. The allogeneic program is the first program in the state of Idaho, and provides patient care for this state as well as bordering states such as Oregon, Montana, Wyoming and Nevada. Since the inception of the autologous program, hundreds of patients have received transplants at St. Luke's Boise. The program has received accreditation from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapies (FACT) every three years since 2001 for autologous transplant and received FACT Accreditation for allogeneic transplant in the summer of 2019. The program is also a National Marrow Transplant Program (NMDP) Transplant Center and a NMDP Apheresis Collection Center of Excellence.
Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke's Cancer Institute for 50 years. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment.Our main cancer center in Boise brings you medical and radiation oncology specialists, as well as fellowship trained cancer surgeons in areas such as thoracic, hepatobiliary, gynecologic, and urologic oncology. Were also home to Idahos only pediatric cancer program and federally sponsored hemophilia center.
