FT Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center is a 350-bed community hospital, and a major academic affiliate of Georgetown University, with residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Practice and OB/GYN. We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health team at MFSMC. In this position you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients which includes performing psychiatric evaluations on patients in collaboration with a supervising psychiatrist and a treatment team. This opportunity offers a collaborative team environment and a flexible Monday Friday schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a Master's, postgraduate, or doctoral degree from a PsychiatricMental Health Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) (formerly NLNAC | National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission). Eligible for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
