Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

Ivy Lane Pediatrics provides Licensed Practical Nurses the opportunity to expand their nursing skills and see the difference they are making in the lives of their patients each day!

Our pediatric nurses provide care to medically complex children allowing them to stay at home with their families. Our patients and families rely on the exceptional care our nurses provide.

We happily offer flexible scheduling and support our staff that wishes to continue their education while working.

We are looking for both Full-Time and Part-Time grave shift nurses. Our grave shifts are generally 8-12 hours long, seeing one patient per shift.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

LPN will follow doctor's orders and responsibilities may include:
Ventilator management Nebulizer treatments
Tracheostomy cares G-tube care and feeding
Medication administration CPT
ROM Assessments every 2 hours etc.
Provide physical and psychological support to patients and families.

Qualifications

Current Utah Nursing License and CPR Certification
Knowledge of Infection control precautions
Multitasking, listening, verbal and written communication
Driver's License, Vehicle Registration and Insurance
The desire and ability to work with children at home or in an academic environment
Comfortable learning new computer programs
Trach/vent experience is preferred but not required.
Great work ethic
