DEPARTMENT: TRMC Operating Room

SHIFT: Day Shift

GENERAL SUMMARY



Responsible for delivering quality nursing care to a varied patient population (infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric), observing and documenting patient response care, and supporting and following policies and procedures; provide guidance and assistance to, LPNs, non-licensed staff in acute care setting; is accountable for the caliber of patient care performed by her/himself and those under his/her supervision; promotes and coordinates team work with physicians and associates; interfaces effectively with other departments; receives supervision from Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and/or the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer in the acute care setting; provides customer service to patients' families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical and non-medical persons.





BASIC REQUIREMENTS



MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Associates Degree in Nursing



MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

None



MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

Registered Professional Nurse license with authorization to practice in state of GA

Basic Life Support Certification



ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
