Job Description

Position

The candidate must be skilled in General Endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy) and Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Skills and interest in managing patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease are a plus.
Teaching and supervision of post-graduate trainees is an integral part of the clinical responsibilities, although direct patient care performing endoscopies and in- and outpatient care is expected.
The candidate will be encouraged to engage in clinical science research.

The Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology has four full-time faculty, two contract physicians and one nurse practitioner.

The Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. The GI/Hepatology Division is part of the Affiliated UCLA Training Program which includes 4 hospitals.
Successful candidate will be eligible for appointment to the faculty of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Other requirements

Candidates must be a US citizen or permanent resident and eligible for licensure in California.
