Job Description

Our facility is looking for a caring and compassionate Occupational Therapist who enjoys coming to work and is inspired to treat our residents like family. The purpose of the Occupational Therapist is to evaluate, treat, and document care for residents. Qualified candidates will plan, organize, develop, and direct the necessary therapies for residents in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide & direct Occupational Therapy services to patients including assessments/evaluations, treatment, program planning, and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
Adhere to applicable principals and practices of occupational therapy, facility policies and procedures federal and state regulations
Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants & Aides
Perform other related duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Successful completion of Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapist
License to practice occupational therapy within the state of Missouri.
Must know documentation requirements and be driven by quality care standards
Ability to work with physicians and other healthcare professionals
