Audiology Position Available in Corona, California
Riverside Medical Clinic (RMC) is a multi-specialty medical group with over 160 physicians at 8 locations serving patients in the Riverside, CA area for over 80 years. We currently have 2 otolaryngologists and two audiologists serving patients: birth through geriatrics. Our newest multi-specialty facility in Temescal Valley/Corona opened in Sept. 2019. This office serves one ENT and one Audiologist. This is a team-oriented practice that values a strong patient experience. We strive to provide exceptional treatment and services.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for administering diagnostic test, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, follow-up care, and providing our patients with the best solution for their hearing loss and lifestyle. The qualified candidate will work as a team-player with the other ENTs and Audiologists and have a proven track record in patient diagnosis and hearing solutions. We treat disorders of the ear, hearing and balance, tinnitus, vertigo, sudden hearing loss, and middle ear infections. We have a diverse caseload.
Tasks Include:
Administer diagnostic tests, coordinate and interpret test results, and consult with and make recommendations on hearing disorders with physicians, perform hearing aid evaluations, and dispensing of hearing aids. Must be able to problem solve and work independently.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Experience with EMR system helpful.
RMC contracts with numerous insurance companies and 3rd party payers with the ability to fit from multi-manufacturers.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
Education: A Masters degree or Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or Ph.D. required.
Experience: 2-3 years experience performing diagnostic testing and hearing aids fittings. Will consider recent Au.D. Graduate with strong clinical skills
California state license as a Dispensing Audiologist required prior to employment
A National Provider Identifier (NPI) or the ability to obtain one prior to employment start date
Salary commensurate with experience plus hearing aid stipend and benefits
