Outpatient Psychiatrist, Phelps Continuing Day Treatment Program

Job Description

Northwell Healths Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Psychiatrist to join the Continuing Day Treatment (CDT) program located in Briarcliff Manor, New York. The department is seeking a highly motivated practitioner who is able to work collaboratively with other clinical professionals in a fast-paced outpatient practice setting.

The Continuing Day Treatment (CDT) program provides mental health services for individuals 18 years and older who require more intensive treatment for new onset or long term mental illness. Services include symptom management, health education, social skills development, and vocational guidance as well as specialty groups such as co-occurring substance abuse topics, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
