Charge Nurse

Job Description

Pine Haven is a 70 bed long term care facility providing quality nursing care and rehabilitation services for families in our community.

The Charge Nurse will supervise and provide guidance to the licensed nurses and registered nursing assistants in accordance with current state and federal regulations. The Charge Nurse will also be responsible for providing nursing services to residents as well as administrative duties including but not limited to:
Admissions and Discharges
Base Line Care Plans
Attending Care Conferences
IDT
Assessments
Would Care
Physician Rounds
Entering Orders
Treatments

This is a full time position, every other weekend required. 12 hour Day Shift.

Requirements:
Current unencumbered licensure with the State of MN as a Registered Nurse
Long Term Care experience preferred

Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in the State of Minnesota

Must be familiar with the standards of nursing practice and state and federal regulations
