Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana, is looking for a Family Medicine physician to work with OnSiteSolutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Major Hospital. We are seeking a full-time Family Physician who has knowledge and experience in primary care and preventative services to treat and work with the employees and families (ages 6 months+) of certain Shelby County employers in on-site or near-site health and wellness centers in Shelbyville, Indiana. Physician will be the sole provider in the practice. Physician will oversee a few NPs and oversee the care of all the eligible population.

Candidate will have the chance to work more closely with population health with multiple companies.

This is a secure, 40 hour per week position with full benefits. No on-call hours. No insurance billing.

The weekly schedule is Monday Thursday (you have Fridays off!)

One Saturday each month is rotational and scheduled from 8:00a.m. 12:00p.m.

Responsibilities

The Family Physician will also work as the Medical Director and is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions. The position is responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the clinical team. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with OnSites Advanced Practice Clinicians is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications

Unrestricted medical license required in the state of Indiana
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Must have primary care/family practice experience
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required (Meditech Expanse is our platform)
