Physiatrist - Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Orthopedics and Sports Medicine- Amherst, MA

Cooley Dickinson Health Care, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, is currently seeking a BC/BE Physiatrist to join our experienced team. Our ideal candidate will have two to five years' experience and be interested in practicing a mix of general orthopedics and sports medicine.

We currently have one veteran physiatrist on staff who specializes in non-surgical treatment of sports, musculoskeletal, joint, nerve and spine injuries, electrodiagnostic testing, trigger point injections, peripheral joint injections, tendon/sheath ligament injections, and chronic soft-tissue, tendon, joint, and ligament injuries treatment.

The incumbent will practice out of our Amherst, MA ambulatory location. They will join an experienced physician assistant and orthopedic surgeon team. This site is co-located with primary care, OBGYN, and Midwifery, as well as Urgent Care. We have radiology services on-site too. This clinic location is situated two miles from the University of Massachusetts flagship campus.

Our group practices out of two newly expanded, ambulatory locations. Our Hatfield, MA location offers onsite radiology, physical & occupational therapy, and a wellness and sports performance center. Our group is composed of 5 orthopedic surgeons, a physiatrist, and supported by 5 APPs. Our group's specialties include Sports Medicine, Shoulder Surgery, Hand Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Arthroscopic Joint Preservation Surgery; we also have a non-surgical sports medicine specialist on-site.
Our dedicated Joint Replacement Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital is a quiet, spacious, eight-bed unit with its own exercise suite; that boasts the lowest infection and complication rate in the state.
