MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE General Neurosurgeon with Pediatric Fellowship training. Join our collegial cutting edge Neurosurgery team. We offer top tier compensation with a $70,000 sign on. J-1 and H1B applicants encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Details:
Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and trauma
40% of Pediatric cases delivered to newborns, 30% of Pediatric cases related to VP Shunts
Call 1:4 with APP taking 1st call.
Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days
APPs primary assist with daily inpatient rounding.
Dedicated Clinic RN for each Physician
No elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call
On site X-Ray, CT and MRI
Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR

The MercyOne Childrens Hospital encompasses a 13-bed PICU, Pediatric ED, Pediatric 22-bed Medical Surgical Unit, 8 Pediatric care clinics as well as several (including Child Neurology) pediatric subspecialties.
