Responsibilities
Mayo Clinics Department of Psychiatry and Psychology in Rochester Minnesota is seeking an outstanding adult psychiatrist to join the Division of Outpatient Consultation. The successful candidate will provide excellent team-based outpatient care and will serve as teaching faculty for residents, fellows, and medical students. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest and experience in medical education. Your practice beyond the resident clinic can be tailored to your specialty focus and interests. The position includes strong mentorship for academic productivity and professional growth, with numerous opportunities for collaborative research. Academic rank in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine will be granted commensurate with experience.
Our division is a mostly consultative practice with a focus on psychiatric disorders occurring in the context of complex medical and neurologic conditions. The outpatient psychiatrist will join 16 other psychiatrists, 5 psychologists and 4 advanced practice providers. This position is based in Rochester, Minnesota and we offer a generous relocation package.

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota and be board-certified/board-eligible in general psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
