Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Family Medicine-Jonesville seeks a Family Medicine Physician to join our learning organization, leading the way in accountable care and physician work/life balance.

HIGHLIGHTS: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Family Medicine - Jonesville, a thriving practice, known for going the extra mile for their patients, serves a large stable population. This team-oriented office with supportive colleagues, two physicians and three APPs, and well-trained office staff. They are recruiting due to an upcoming retirement. This is a great opportunity for the family medicine physician who wants a comprehensive outpatient family medicine practice including all ages, ample volume of well-child checks, simple lumps/bumps, ortho.

SCHEDULE: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:30 am 11:30am. Telephone only call 1:5. The provider on call staffs the Saturday clinic. Providers may work one day/week at the satellite office in Dobson.

COMMUNITY: Recognized as the Heart of the Yadkin Valley, Jonesville is a gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains, and to local wineries in the larger Yadkin Valley Region. Public schools are great. Physicians wishing to live closer to Winston-Salem, will find the suburban communities of Lewisville and West Bend as great options, 30 minutes to Jonesville, and 15 minutes to Winston-Salem. Within five miles are regional sky diving facilities, an international motorcycle manufacturing plant, a restoration center for vintage cars, a popular herb farm, a History Center, a medieval reenactment center and a horse ranch specializing in riding lessons and mustang rehabilitation. Many of North Carolinas most popular destinations are within an hour of Jonesville, including Charlotte, North Carolinas largest city, and Boone, home of Appalachian State University, boasting great college football, skiing and hiking.

QUALIFICATIONS: MD/DO, BC/BE in Family Medicine, Successful record of clinical and service excellence, North Carolina medical license or eligible
