Job Description
Wake Forest Health Network Internal Medicine Westchester seeks an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join their well-established practice of six physicians and two advanced practice professionals. With more than 165 clinical practices, we provide care throughout the Triad and western North Carolina. Our providers (formerly part of Cornerstone Health Care, Wake Forest Baptist Community Physicians and UNC Regional Physicians) align with Wake Forest Baptist's mission to improve health. With Wake Forest Health Network, patients get access to the best care an academic medical center offers - closer to home.. Each provider has a dedicated CMA, and there is a RN on-site. The practice process many in-house labs including chemistry analyzer, CBC, Urine, Strep, and Flu. The staff verifies new patient pharmacy records prior to the appointment. A pulmonologist rotates through the practice 3 days/week. Providers see approximately 50% Medicare patients, 50% younger adult.
SCHEDULE:
Outpatient only
Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5pm
Full-time providers work 36 patient-facing hours, 4 administrative hours
Telephone only call, minimal volume, 1 day/week and every 6th weekend
REQUIREMENTS:
MD/DO, BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
