Breast Imaging Radiologist

Job Description

The Department of Radiology at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a Breast Imaging specialist in Radiology. The Breast Imaging Section is responsible for breast imaging and intervention throughout the MetroHealth System, which includes a diagnostic and therapeutic breast imaging center and multiple satellite facilities. The breast imaging team utilizes Hologic mammography units with digital 3D breast tomosynthesis and CAD capabilities, Hologic digital stereotactic systems, 3.0T and 1.5T MRI systems as well as GE conventional breast ultrasound systems and two GE automated breast ultrasound units. All studies are linked via an enterprise wide PACS system. This section is part of a multi-disciplinary integrated Breast Care Center team including imaging, surgery, and treatment services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of breast image guided diagnosis and therapeutics and commit to timely, efficient, and high-quality service. Applicants should be well-versed in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography. Proficiency in 3D breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound and MRI and all aspects of interventional breast procedures is also necessary. The applicant must be board-certified, eligible for licensure in Ohio and have fellowship training or equivalent experience in breast imaging.
