Family-Centered Care:
Pediatric Gastroenterology at PMCH is patient-centered and family-focused. We are knowledgeable about diagnostic and treatment strategies that can be utilized in ways that minimize pain, discomfort or anxiety as much as possible. These techniques include family-centered endoscopy, imaging modalities that minimize radiation exposure, small bowel capsule endoscopy, and an in-clinic biologic infusion center where patients can receive specialized medications for inflammatory bowel disease.
Team Approach:
While providing both inpatient and outpatient consultation and care, our specialists partner with the primary care provider and pediatric subspecialists to develop coordinated care plans. When a condition affects multiple body systems, the pediatric gastroenterologists work with providers from other disciplines to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment strategies in order to improve outcomes. Our Aerodigestive team is just one example of specialists collaborating through a multidisciplinary approach to provide care for children with diseases involving their airway and digestive tract. Families appreciate how our comprehensive team-based approach can help streamline their care and make a challenging experience a little easier for them.
St. Vincent offers a competitive compensation package that includes: competitive base salaries, production/quality bonus potential, starting bonus, relocation allowance, CME, comprehensive health benefits, retirement savings plan (403b), malpractice with tail, and generous paid time off.
