Seeking Experienced CV Surgery NP| 53 mi from Charlotte, NC

Job Description

Frye Regional Medical Center, located in Hickory, NC- 53 mi from Charlotte, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery PA or NP with operative experience (first assist) to join our expanding practice in a newly added position! The perfect candidate will have 5-10 years of CV Surgery APP experience, but those with 3-5 years will also be considered.

About the Position:
- Join two CV Surgeons and 1 Advanced Practice Practitioner
- Outpatient Clinic is conveniently located on Hospital Campus
- CV Surgery Program is expanding its scope of expertise (TAVR, ECMO, Trauma, etc.)

Specific training candidate requirements include: endoscopic vein harvesting and endoscopic radial artery harvest, insertion / removal of chest tubes, central venous access placement, arterial line placement, balloon pump removal, first assistance with operative cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, Aortic dissection, Aortic aneurysm repair, ECMO cannulation, etc.
