Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and caring Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist to provide quality care to our patients.

You will review patient files upon admission, address immediate health concerns, and help determine the best short- and long-term treatment options. In collaboration with our medical provider team, you examine patients in our acute care wing, modify treatment or medications when necessary, and ensure your patients receive excellent care from our staff. This position will assist the evening clinic provider as well as the Emergency Department on-call provider as needed.

Our ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in acute care and an extensive background in the management of chronic illnesses. This is a Monday thru Friday fulltime position which does not require weekend shifts or on-call hours.

Must have:

A Masters Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, ENPC, & TNCC Certification (or be willing to obtain them upon hire)
At least 2 years of nursing experience in Acute or ED
