Education:

Requires M.D., or professional equivalent degree
Must have successfully completed or are in the process of completing an accredited Residency Program
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

Must be/be able to become a licensed Physician / Surgeon in the State of Illinois
Must also maintain an IL Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA license
Must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Clinic Opportunity Overview

5 exam rooms
3 patient rooms
1 radiology room
1 casting room
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
20-25 daily clinic visits
In-clinic radiology services
Radiology technologist available in clinic, Monday-Friday based on patient needs for x-ray services
Digital imaging system, accessible on multiple universal work stations

Chest
Abdomen
In-clinic rehab services
1 Physical Therapist, ATC in office M-F
Used as a tool to expedite therapy start
Instruction on home exercise program directed by physician until first therapy appointment
Assist in therapist to doctor communication
Assist scheduling for patient choosing MDH Sports Medicine & Rehab
Connect/communicate with athletes, families, and physician
Assist in application of splints, etc. in office
Provide assistance to help patient flow (room patients, etc.)
