Job Description

PEDIATRIC OTOLARYNGOLOGY

Childrens Mercy Kansas City is seeking a fellowship-trained PEDIATRIC OTOLARYNGOLOGIST to join our professional staff at the ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR level. We desire to recruit an individual with a keen interest in all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, including sub-specialization as supported by prior training and experience.

This position will entail clinical care, impactful research and the education of medical students, Pediatric and Otolaryngology residents, and our Pediatric Otolaryngology fellow. The Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Childrens Mercy operates in affiliation with the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Kansas, and a joint academic appointment will be sought.

We currently have ten Pediatric Otolaryngologists on staff at Childrens Mercy. We also have two part-time Neurotologists on staff (who comprise slightly less than one full-time equivalent position). This Pediatric Otolaryngology position offers an opportunity to take a leading role in the enhancement of the Division of Otolaryngology with the Department of Surgery at Childrens Mercy.

The successful applicant must share our unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, collegiality, antiracism, and respect for inclusion of individuals with diverse backgrounds.

Robert A. Weatherly, MD
Division Director
