Job Description

Essentia Health Heart & Vascular Center is the largest diagnostic, therapeutic, interventional and cardiothoracic surgery program in the region and the second largest program in Minnesota.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

-Join 15 Cardiologists including 6 Non-invasive Cardiology Specialists, 6 CV Interventionalists, 3 Electrophysiologist and 2 General Cardiologists
-1:6 weekend call; 25 weeknight call per year
-ICAEL Accredited Echocardiography Lab; 11 Dedicated Registered Echo Technologists
-Comprehensive full-service, non-invasive Cardiovascular Lab including Cardiac MRI and CTA
-Innovative programs including Heart Failure Program, Atrial Fib, and Cardiac Rehab
-16 dedicated, full-time cardiac NPs and PAs
-St. Marys Medical Center, a 330-bed tertiary care
-Level I Trauma Center and 3rd highest hospital for acuity in the state of Minnesota
-9 staff dedicated to cardiac research and over 25 studies currently underway
-Certified as HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) Level 7 for both our Inpatient and Ambulatory facilities

REQUIREMENTS

-BC/BE Cardiology
-CT and MRI a plus but not required
