PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY
McLaren Northern Michigan is recruiting a General Surgeon, board certified in Bariatrics for a busy Private Practice in Petoskey, Michigan. Join six other surgeons and a team of advanced practice providers in delivering a wide scope of surgical services. The practice is looking to expand their bariatrics services so Bariatrics certification is required, an interest in Critical Care is also preferred. The ideal candidate will be trauma capable and participate in the inpatient coverage of the newly designated Level II Trauma Center. Trauma responsibilities will include in-house coverage on a shared rotation of 1:5 with post-operative follow-up care provided in the clinic. US Board eligibility / certification is required.
McLaren Northern Michigan is currently undergoing a major expansion project adding 92 new private rooms, additional observation beds, and renovation of the current facility. This expansion project will also bring 9 newly constructed/enhanced operating rooms that will be 30% larger to accommodate newer technology.
