Job Description

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA (USA). Sanford Health's multi-subspecialty hospital-based pathology group is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified, Hematopathology fellowship-trained, hematopathology BC/BE pathologist for a full-time position. Position ideally intended for 100% hematopathology signout; however, opportunity for signout in other areas of pathology could be considered based on individuals training and expertise.

Guaranteed salary first 2 years with upside opportunity, generous time off, relocation stipend, and yearly CME reimbursement
No grossing and no autopsies; PAs & grossing staff perform all gross dissections
Completely subspecialized signout of hematopathology, cytopathology, and dermatopathology by fellowship-trained, subspecialty-boarded individuals
Board-certified hematopathologists cover all bone marrows (650/year), flow cytometry (1500/year, 10-color), surgical & cytology lymphoma workups with associated ancillary study integration, peripheral blood reviews, and serum protein electrophoresis & immunofixation
Light on-call duties are limited to weekend hematopathology-only call (no frozens, surgical pathology, or blood bank)
All pathologists are subspecialty fellowship-trained and practice is largely subspecialized; candidate would join 2 other hematopathology fellowship-trained, hematopathology-boarded pathologists
